We all share one common Human Experience - we are born into a human family.
This seminar is based on work with hundreds of people and group participants in which the relationship to one's family of origin and lineage has shown itself to be the core theme that defines one's life. Why is healing the relationships with our family of origin so crucial?
- the relationship with our parents:
It has been proven over and over, that to come into one's own, as a man, as a woman, the 'doorway' goes through the healing with one's parents. If one has not truly honored one's parents, it is difficult to live a fully expressed and abundant life.
- the relationship with the parent of the same gender:
A woman who is not connected to her mother might have challenges around her own femininity. A man, who rejects his father, or rebels against him, may struggle to find his expression - manifesting as success - in the material world.
- the connection to our lineage:
What happened in prior generations has an impact on your family system now. We are figuratively standing on the shoulders of our ancestors and the wounds and pains of these ancestors are often taken on by following generations. We are all part of a lineage.
- the relationship to one's sibling/s:
Our relationship to our siblings in our family of origin often impacts our relationships with colleagues at work, and with friends and often shows up in tense and struggling relationships between the grown up adult siblings.
How the process works
The Human Experience Seminar is based on the principles of Family Constellation Work developed by the German Psychotherapist Bert Hellinger in combination with the methodology of the Inner Journey Work. Each person will have an opportunity to select other workshop participants to represent themselves, their relatives, and other relevant relationships. The client leads each representative to a place in the room, placing the family members in relation to one another, matching the inner, instinctual picture she or he carries of the family. Once the constellation is put in place, the facilitator works with the representatives and the person who sets up the constellation and reestablishes balance and order in the family system.

Michael Schiesser, Founder of Inner Journey Seminars, a transformational company, has 28 years of experience in the field of facilitation and personal coaching in the US, Canada and Europe. Specializing in individual and group dynamics, Michael has an MA from the University of Munich, Germany, and is also trained in the art of Chinese Five Element Acupuncture. Michael also coaches and consults in organizations. He met Bert Hellinger, the Founder of Family Constellation work, 1999, and has since then trained and practiced Family Constellation work in combination with the methods of his own Inner Journey programs.
